I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. I scheduled an appointment for Thursday at 1:30 PM for an inspection because that was the only time I could be without my car for a few hours. After dropping it off, I was told it would be “a while” and that they would call me when it was finished. As I was walking out with my baby, someone stopped me and said my car actually wouldn’t be done that day—even though I had an appointment. I told them I would just take my car elsewhere, but they assured me that if I left it overnight, it would be completed first thing Friday morning. Since we only have one car and a newborn, I trusted them and left it. By noon on Friday, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called. I was told my car was “next in line” and almost finished. At 1:00 PM, my husband called and was told the inspection revealed additional work was needed, but it would still be ready by 3:00–3:30 PM. When no one called, we reached out again at 3:30 PM, only to be told it now wouldn’t be done until 4:30–5:00 PM, despite the shop being open until 7:00 PM. I had a great experience at Pep Boys getting my shock stabilizer replaced on my truck. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain the repairs being completed. The repairs were completed in a timely fashion and the pricing seemed fair. My vehicle rides much smoother now. Thank you!

Dorian and his team were outstanding. I had an unexpected flat tire, and after being referred from another location, they had the tire I needed in stock. They assisted me right away and provided excellent customer service on such short notice. The entire team was professional, welcoming, and made a stressful situation much easier. I truly appreciate their prompt assistance and highly recommend them.

This review is for this location only, I have been a loyal customer of Pep Boys for more than four decades now, and I have always appreciated the value they provide. Typically, I visit the Aramingo Avenue branch in Port Richmond. However, since I have started leasing my vehicles, my visits to Pep Boys have become limited to occasional oil changes or tire replacements. Unfortunately, the experience I had at the South Broad Street location was extremely disappointing. In the early hours of the morning, we had the vehicle towed to this location through my Allstate contract, which allows for five tows of up to 100 miles each. We selected this location for its convenience. We dropped off the car on the 24th with a scheduled appointment on the same day, but it was unexpectedly canceled. Despite this setback, they were able to inspect the car and reschedule the service to be completed by the 27th. A deposit was requested and provided on the same day. However, no specific timeframe was given for the completion of the service. After waiting past the expected time, we called in the morning for an estimate. The price was very reasonable, and the service was impressively fast. They immediately identified the issue with our tire, which had been punctured by a nail, and got it fixed right away.
